"The national scheme for the management of occupational health in the construction industry is based on findings from the CBH Pilot and building upon consultation with Government, the Construction Industry and Unions. The aim of which is to improve the health of the industry workforce."

As a result of the findings in the pilot we carried out at Sainsbury’s Bradford-upon-Avon, we are currently in the process of rolling out the CBH health card to all operatives, and will be working with our supply chain to ensure the management of work related health risks are implemented throughout all contractors working on our sites.

"The Considerate Constructors Scheme is the national initiative, set up by the construction industry, to improve its image. Sites that register with the Scheme sign up and are monitored against a Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements."
Dudley's has been invited to join the Considerate Contractors Scheme as an Associate Member from January 2009.
